Daniel Lloyd can today confirm a new partnership with the Shrieve Group ahead of his assault on the 2023 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season.
Shrieve operates in a wide range of industries across the globe, providing a number of specialist products to companies operating on a local, national and international level.
That ranges from the distribution of various chemical products for use in industry through to the development of new synthetic lubricants using high-tech laboratory analysis tools.
The company doesn’t just operate on land either, offering rapid response chemical solutions for companies operating offshore oilfield explorations.
The decision to join forces with Huddersfield racer Daniel comes as the 31-year-old gets set for his third full season in Britain’s premier racing series, and on the back of a hugely successful 2022.
Despite a mid-season incident that almost brought his campaign to an early end, Daniel grabbed three race wins and was able to secure a top ten championship finish for the first time – providing a platform on which to build during the year ahead.
For 2023, Daniel moves into a brand new Cupra Leon being run by Team HARD, with pre-season testing set to get underway soon ahead of the opening rounds of the campaign at Donington Park at the end of April.
Daniel Lloyd said:
“It’s always great to be able to welcome a new partner onboard, and I’m excited about the prospect of working with Shrieve during the year ahead.
“As a company that works around oils and lubricants and has clients within the automotive industries, there are obvious synergies with my racing programme and the BTCC – so it’s a perfect match!
“I look forward to welcoming Shrieve and their guests along to events as the season goes on so they can see first hand what the BTCC is all about.”
Mark Burnett, MD Shrieve UK, said:
“It’s great to be able to support homegrown talent like Daniel. The very nature of the products we produce at Shrieve means the company works closely with the automotive industry, so partnering with Daniel felt like a great fit.
“The British Touring Car Championship is the largest in the UK, with 16 million viewers tuning in to follow the drivers’ and teams on ITV and ITV4 last year. We’re looking forward to following Daniel’s progress this season, and of course getting trackside with customers and suppliers to cheer him on in person.”
