Daniel Lloyd has secured the backing of another Yorkshire-based business for his assault on the 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season after announcing a new deal with Future Flooring Solutions Ltd.

Huddersfield racer Daniel is two rounds into his new-look programme with the EXCELR8 Motorsport team, and sits tenth in the championship standings having scored four top ten finishes from six starts so far.

Future Flooring – based in Huddersfield – is a well established business with years of experience in both the sale and installation of high-quality domestic and commercial floors, and has a wide and varied client base that includes national developers.

The company expands its involvement with Daniel this season to become a full sponsor, having first signed up as part of the Daniel Lloyd Members Club last year.

The club was launched to provide small business and individuals with the opportunity to get involved in Daniel’s BTCC programme, with Future Flooring becoming the third business to step up to full partner status having seen the many benefits first hand.

The decision to increase its involvement comes as Future Flooring brings a new range of automotive flooring and branded mats to the market place, with the heavy-duty, non-slip product – made up of PP injected tiles that can be clicked together – being ideally suited to the motorsport industry.

“We’re very excited to be involved with Daniel’s BTCC programme this year,” managing director George Adshead said. “It’s great to support a local driver and as we grow the automotive side of the business, it fits in extremely well.

“The high end garage flooring, personalised matting, and the tiles that you see in many of the race team garages and awnings are some of the main services that we are keen to promote through our involvement with Daniel during the year ahead.”

Daniel himself expressed delight at welcoming Future Flooring onboard at a greater level.

“I’m mega excited to have Future Flooring onboard this season,” he said. “Last year they were part of my Members Club and they can see more benefits from being a main sponsor, which is great.

“That was always the concept of the club, and with Future Flooring, there’s plenty of potential for a return on investment. which is the most important thing. I’ve seen some of their work in garages, workshops, gyms and they’ve even kitted out my own home – so I can vouch first hand for their quality of work.”
