Daniel Lloyd can today confirm that his successful partnership with 247 Blinds will continue the 2023 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, after extending his agreement with the company for this season.

The Huddersfield-based business first joined forces with Daniel when he made his return to the BTCC grid back in 2021 and has played a key role in the success that the 31-year-old has enjoyed since then.

Impressively, 247 Blinds has replicated that success off-track, utilising its involvement with Daniel to promote its UK-wide full-fitting service whilst also seeing impressive growth in its work with commercial clients thanks to the B2B opportunities available within the BTCC paddock.

Since teaming with 247 Blinds, Daniel has been able to showcase his talents with a number of impressive results in Britain’s premier racing series, scoring four podium finishes in 2021 before taking three race wins last year en-route to tenth in the championship standings.

As well as 2022 being a successful season on-track, it also proved to be a strong year off-track for Daniel’s commercial partners, who benefitted from his front-running form across the campaign to secure a huge boost in brand awareness.

Indeed, the battle for honours was fought out in front of bumper crowds trackside, whilst a total UK audience of more than 16 million watched the action on free-to-air TV across the ten events.

Daniel’s extended deal with 247 Blinds will see the company once again feature on the visor of his race helmet as well as across his Team HARD-run Cupra Leon, which will be revealed in its new livery ahead of the opening meeting of the year at Donington Park next month.

Daniel Lloyd said:
“It’s fantastic to extend my partnership with 247 Blinds into a third year. Not only has the partnership been a great way for 247 to appeal directly to the consumer market, it has also helped to boost the commercial side of the business – showing the benefits of the fantastic exposure that the BTCC provides.

“I’m looking forward to working with them again this season to see how we can build on the successes of the last two years both on and off track and feel confident that another good year lies ahead.”

Glen Parkin, 247 Blinds Marketing Manager, said:
“We are pleased to be able to confirm a new deal with Daniel for the upcoming season, and it’s great to be able to retain links with our local drive.

“Our involvement over the past two years has proven to be a success for us as a business and some of the work we have secured – kitting out offices and industrial spaces – has come as a direct consequence of working with Daniel and using the BTCC to develop new relationships.

“Whilst we are extremely proud to be Yorkshire based, our full fitting service operates across the UK which makes a top national series like the BTCC – and a leading driver like Daniel – the ideal way to showcase our brand.”
