A prime opportunity to become part of Daniel Lloyd’s programme in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship has become available after the unexpected departure of one of the main backers of his 2025 season .
Huddersfield racer Daniel returned to the grid this season after a year away in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, having inked a deal to join Restart Racing at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 Fastback N.
Over the opening half of the season, Daniel and the team have taken huge steps forward with the car, scoring three wins in the Independents’ class to sit fourth in the standings going into the next event at Croft.
Ahead of that weekend, an unexpected change in circumstances has resulted in a prime sponsorship space becoming available on Daniel’s car as well as on his race helmet.
That provides a chance for a new business to get involved with the multiple race winner for events that include high-profile meetings at the likes of Donington Park, Silverstone and Brands Hatch between now and October.
Alongside branding, a partnership with Daniel over the second half of 2025 will also open the door to first rate B2B and B2C marketing opportunities within the BTCC paddock, with VIP hospitality being an ideal way in which to reward employees or to discuss business away from an office environment.
Daniel’s existing partners have already benefitted from expansive coverage through the first half of the year, including prime visibility on ITV4 and ITVX.
“First things first, I’m fully committed to completing the season with Restart Racing and building on the progress we have made in the first half of the year, although obviously this situation is far from ideal,” he said.
“I’ve already been able to bring some new partners onboard as we prepare for racing to resume at Croft but now have a fantastic opportunity available for someone looking to get involved at a greater level, with prime space on the car for some of the biggest events on the calendar.
“These opportunities coincide with some upcoming filming that is planned with Kwik Fit for their annual BTCC documentary which opens the door for even greater levels of coverage, alongside the fact that I’m confident of us running towards the sharp end of the field across the five rounds still to come.
“I’m eager to speak to anyone who may be interested in working together over the rest of the season as I work to end 2025 on a high.”
