Daniel Lloyd has taken the covers off his 2023 livery after joining the remainder of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship field for the annual season launch event at Brands Hatch.
The Huddersfield-based racer switches to Team HARD for the new season looking to build on an impressive 2022 campaign, where he overcame a major accident at Oulton Park to score three race wins and grab a top-ten championship finish for the first time.
Going into his third full season in Britain’s premier racing series, Daniel will be at the wheel of a brand new Cupra Leon that has been built up by Team HARD over the winter.
The car – which will be entered under the Autobrite Direct with Millers Oils banner – was revealed in a striking black, red and white livery prior to the start of official pre-season testing at the Kent circuit, with the new colourscheme also showcasing a number of Daniel’s personal partners.
247 Blinds takes pride of place on the front of the car and also on the rear, with DEVELOP – which expands its relationship with the multiple race winner this season – on both front doors. Technology Desking also feature as the part of the livery
Following on from the season launch test, Daniel will continue his preparations for the opening meeting of the campaign which is now less than two weeks away at Donington Park.
“I absolutely love the way that the livery has come out and think the Cupra looks absolutely mega,” Daniel said.
“The combination of red, white and black for the team sponsors works well with my own partners, and it means the likes of 247 Blinds, DEVELOP and Technology Desking will really stand out on track.
“The team has done a great job to get the new car ready during the winter and with the clock ticking down to race one, I can’t wait to get to Donington Park and kick off the season.”
