Daniel Lloyd has launched an immersive new members club that offers businesses and individuals an exciting range of opportunities ahead of this weekend’s second annual Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship visit to Thruxton in Hampshire (August 28-29).
The Daniel Lloyd Racing Members Club has been specifically designed to deliver a cost-effective entry-level into the top-tier of British motorsport, with members benefits including VIP weekend access to a BTCC round, an exclusive track day hosted by Daniel on the iconic Silverstone GP circuit, and tickets to a glamourous end of season ball and auction. Other featured advantages open to members encompass fantastic networking opportunities and branded club merchandise.
With a number of members already signed up for his 2021 BTCC campaign, Daniel is looking to extend the reach of the club even further as he starts to focus on securing his place on the grid for the 2022 season.
“The members club is something that I’ve been working on for three for four months now;” explained Daniel. “The goal of the club was to get more people involved in our campaign. I massively appreciate all of the sponsors and supporters that we have onboard, but this is more about offering an entry-level cost membership to a club rather than a traditional sponsorship.
“We have nine members signed up already, and anyone can become a member. We still have places available for people to join for this season. With the main events for the club being held in November, there’s plenty of time to get involved.”
Daniel and the Adrian Flux with Power Maxed Racing Team return to the fastest track on the BTCC calendar, Thruxton Circuit, this coming weekend. Off the back of a disappointing meeting at Knockhill earlier in the month, the Huddersfield racer is hoping for a return to the form seen at the Hampshire circuit during this season’s opening round where he scored a top-five finish in the wet.
“We ended up finishing fifth the last time we raced at Thruxton. I’m much more on top of the car now and it’s a high-speed circuit so it will be interesting to see what the difference is this weekend. Hopefully, we can work our way back up the order and score some big points come Sunday.”
