Daniel Lloyd can today confirm that his partnership with Yorkshire-based business DEVELOP will continue into the 2024 season as he prepares to challenge for honours in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.
DEVELOP, known for its market-leading copier and printing solutions, first joined forces with Huddersfield-racer Daniel mid-way through the 2022 season when it was one of the businesses that stepped up to help after the accident at Oulton Park that almost curtailed his campaign.
After a successful start to the partnership that included a win at Brands Hatch, DEVELOP remained onboard with Daniel for a full season last year, taking up a prominent position on the Cupra Leon that came agonisingly close to scoring another victory at Donington Park.
Whilst he moves on to a new challenge this year with a switch into the Carrera Cup, where he raced successfully in the past prior to moving into touring cars, Daniel’s relationship with DEVELOP will continue after the partnership between the two parties was extended into a second full season.
As in 2023, DEVELOP will continue to have a presence on Daniel’s helmet and also across his Toro Verde GT-run Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, with the company also set to benefit from trackside hospitality and business networking opportunities across the season.
The first race takes place at Donington Park in late April.
“It’s brilliant to have DEVELOP back onboard for the 2024 season as one of my major partners,” Daniel said. “From the first time I spoke to [managing director] Jonathan Whitworth, his interest in motorsport was clear and over the past 18 months of so, we have developed a really strong relationship.
“Moving into the Carrera Cup means that DEVELOP will continue to benefit from everything that comes as part of competing on the biggest package in UK motorsport and I’m confident that we can have another strong year together both on and off track.”
